Modes at Ascot Return to Victorian Era. LONG FLOWING SKIRTS. (Received 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 16. Fashions on tlie entertaining pre-war scale are definitely distinguishing Ascot week. Victorian styles in organdie are again right in the foreground of fashion, also Edwardian gowns in plain printed aummer fabrics. The majority of the frocks are ankle length, others touching the ground all round. Nothing shorter than twelve inches below the knees is the inexorable' rule. Hats afe very large, in lace, straw, tulle, net and chiffon.
