TWO MEN INJURED.
KING COUNTRY MISHAPS. EXPLOSION IN TOUNDBY. CRUSHED WHILE SHUNTING. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TAUMARUNUI, this day. As the result of an explosion afc Lawler and Rice's foundry this morning Mr. Ray Rice is now suffering from shock and a broken bone in the right forearm. Caught between two trucks while shunting operations were in progress at the Pukuweka Sawmill Company's yards at Manunui yesterday Mr. A. E. Mound sustained injuries which necessitated his removal to hospital. He is suffering from a crushed chest with a broken collarbone and ribs.
