OVER FIVE MILLIONS. AUCKLAND CONTRIBUTES £1,737,233. Statistics to be presented to the New Zealand Racing Conference show that so far during the season 145 flat raco meetings have been held. The stake-money totalled £409,549 and the totalisator investments amounted to £5,020,856 10/. > The Auckland district was easily the largest as far as the Jotalisator investments were "concerned, putting through »> £1,737, 233 10/; Wellington is next with £725,470, and then comes Canterbury, £409,549; Wanganui, £587,907; Hawke's Bay, £40G;033; Dimedin; £317,357 10/; Taranaki, £240.456; Southland, £243,676; and Greymouth, £134,994. There are still clevcfn meetings t;o be held before the season is through. ■
