ST. MATTHEW'S DANCE.
St. Matthew's Hall, Hobson Street, was the scene of an enjoyable dance on Saturday evening, held under the auspices of the St. Matthew's Young Men s Bible Class. The hall was beautifully decorated with balloons and streamers, the myriad of coloured lights adding to the kaleidoscopic effect. During the e-enin-T Miss Loloma Kay entertained the visitors with a Spanish dance Among those present were: M. Armour, silvei lined crepe de chine; Miss Spragg, cream lace; Miss M. Urwin, silver lace; Miss J. Morgan, black geor-o-ette; Mies V. Morgan, green georgette and lame; Miss G. Urwin, lupin blue corded silk; Mrs. Timewell, black with α-old lace; Miss T. Eaves, blue taffeta and tulle, ankle length; Mrs. Wodehouse, navy crepe de chine; Miss Cos, black crepe de chine and shoulder posy; Miss W. Josey, lavender taffeta and creorgette; Miss Chattam, mauve satin; Misfi°Pratt, blue rayon; Miss M. Thornton, apple green taffeta and pink diamante lace;" Miss Vola Cross, blue satin and gold lace; Miss V. Cross, pink marocain lace and satin trimming; Mies C. Willoughby, pale blue crepe de chine; Miss L. WillouEchby, pale pink georgette; Miss J. "Willoujrhby, blue crepe de chine; Miss Henderson, blue crepe de chine; Miss Sandall, blue celanese; Miss T. Watts, rose moire taffeta; Miss B. Clark, pink georgette; Miss Avis Hed-o-ena, blue crepe de chine, coffee lace; Mrs. Fincks, navy blue crepe de chine and shoulder posy. Miss P. Lang, pale pink taffeta; Miss T. CahiU, shell pmk crepe de chine and shoulder posy; Mrs. G Haesett, blue crepe de chine and black aiiawl; Miss H. Bundle, green and α-okl silk with sold lace; Miss B. Bodger, powder blue georgette; Mies J. Anderson, blue crepe de chine; Miss E. Craig, .cream satin and georgette.
