RENAMING A CHURCH.
The Rt. Rev. George Budd, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand, performed last evening the official ceremony of renaming the church at Balmoral Road to Sandringham, which was necessary owing to the alteration in the name of the district.' Tie Mayor of Mount Albert, Mr. L. E. Rhodea?|fand members of the council were present, also Mr. G. C. Munns, M.P. Tlie morning service was one of special thanksgiving, when the Rev. W. Gilmour preached on "A company of people charged with an irresistible energy."
