THEY ALL HAD BOYS.
YOUNG GIRLS IN AUCKLAND,
. Speaking to Auckland Rotarians to-day, Miss Jean Begg, secretary of the Y.W.C.A., gave "some interesting sidelights on the work the association is doing amongst Auckland's young girls. She said that when addressing a meeting of fiO working girls, whose ages ranged from 14 years upwards, she ascertained in response to questions that only three took any part in any organisation that had even indirectly a connection with education or sell improvement. Only fifteen made attendance at Sunday school. When asked .which had not a boy, there was not a single response.
