CONTESTS AT MANGARE.
The annual Badminton tournament of the Northern Club' was held in the Manger* East Hall- yesterday, when several handicapmatches were decided. Miss A. Ellett again demonstrated hr,r superiority by winningthe ladies' singles from the scratch;mark.;' The men's singles was won off plus 6 by j< Solomon, who has now joined the Northern Club, and is showing improved form. Part nered by S.
