SHOOTING FATALITY.
WAIKATO SHOW ACCIDENT.
INQUEST AND FUNERAL,

HAMILTON, Tuesday.
The funeral took place to-day of Mr. Joseph Dufty, aged 43, who was accidentally shot at the Waikato Winter Show last evening. At the inquest before the coroner, Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., evidence of identification was taken. Medical evidence was given that the cause of death wag a bullet wound in the heart. The inquest was adjourned sine die. The executive of >the Waikato Winter Show Association decided to send a letter of condolence to the late Mr. Dufty's wife and to have the association represented at the funeral. At the burial there was a large gathering of citizens, including many representatives of sporting bodies.
