HOW THEY MAY HELP.
NO OVERTIME BY CARPENTERS
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
WELLINGTON", Tuesday.
That all workers in the trade should decline to work overtime was the purport of a resolution carried at a meeting of the unemployed carpenters, joiners and joiners' machinists, held at the Trades Hall yesterday. It was stated that if workers desisted from overtime, unemployed carpenters would be helped, as less overtime worked would mean a job for someone else.
