DEATH OF CHEF.
TAKEN SUDDENLY ILL,
After taking suddenly iIL yesterday, Jos. \Newey, 45, of 63, Bere'sford Street, Bays water, died in, the Auckland Hospital early last evening. Deceased was a well-known chef, employed in the Central Hotel. He was married, and his wife had just undergone a serious operation and is at present in a private hospital. There were no children.
