At the annual meeting of the Society for the Protection of Women and Children Mr. Bartholomew, S.M., condemned the proposal to establish a Court of Domestic Relations in place o,f the present method. of settlement of domestic cases. In some respects, he said, it would be mischievous. Nothing was more resented than outside interference in homes, and he thought it unwise to encourage people to go to a tinbunal for. the adjustment of their differences. He much preferred the present method, with the services of the society's capable sister available.
