The sum of £652, proceeds of the recent Quoin Carnival, has been handed over by the carnival secretary to the Te Puke Town Board for the- erection of municipal swimming baths and rest room. Plans for the building are being submitted by Messrs. Piper and Brooker, and the erection is to be completed before the summer.
