MRS. PERCY W. BOLLAND.

The death occurred at Takapuna yesterday of Mrs.. Dora Elizabeth Bplland, wife of Mr. Perey William Bolland. 13orn at Ballarat," Victoria,'sß-years ago, she came to Auckland when twelve months old wjj;h her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Pilkington. 'Before taking up residence at Takapuna five years ago, she lived at Northcote for 22 years, and took an active part, in social and educational matters, being the first lady to occupy a seat on the Northeote School committee. For many years she was a prominent member of the old Auckland Banjo and Guitar Club, under the conductorship of Mr; A. A. Partridge, also the Auckland Amateur Opera Company. She was a keen member of the New Zealand Royal Life Saving Society, which was organised throughout the Dominion by Mr. Henry, the representative of the English Society. • She was a popular figure in croquet circles, being for many years president of the Northcote Croquet Club. She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Maurice Siinson, and three sons, Mr. Arthur Bolland (who has been in England for rae past three years), and Messrs. Percy and Stuart Bolland, both of Auckland. The funeral took place to-day, the body being cremated at the Waikumete Cemetery.
