CROQUET.
DEVONPORT CLUB. The annual meeting of the Devonport Bowling Green Croquet Club was held in the bowlers' pavilion on Monday, May 26.' Mrs. G. H. ISicy. the president, presided at a full attendance of the members. Following are the prize winners:—A championship : Mrs. A. White: runner-up, Mrs. W. Cotes. B championship: Mrs. H. S. W. King; runner-up, Mrs. J. O'Brien. A championship doubles: Mesdames White and Burgess; runners-up, Mesdames Broughton and Beaumont. Handicap doubles: Mesdames White and McLaren; runnersup, Mesdames Cotes and O'Brien. Handicap singles : Mrs. A. White ; runner-up. Mrs. F. Beck. Ladder matches: Mrs. K. Broughton. The highest scores for the season on club day: A, Mrs. Beck; B, Mrs. Jackson. Officers elected for the coming year are as follow: President, Mrs. H. E. Cooper; hon. secretary and treasurer. Mrs. begin; general committee, Mesdames i.i>. Mason. F. W. Warren, J. K. Harry, w. Griffith, W. Watson; match committee. Mesdames K. Broughton and A. \\ hite tea committee. Mesdames J. McLaren and J. O'Brien; delegate to the CroqueAss oci.i-1 ion Mrs. A. White. A vote of thank* uas proposed for the outgoing officers The president thanked the members for their support during the season.
