POLO IN WAIKATO.
• ;— USE OF SHOWGROUNDS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Sunday. The application of the Waikato Polo Club for the use of the Claudelands Show Grounds for the Saville Cap tournament and interprovincial competitions was further considered at a meeting of the executive of the Waikato Acricultural and Pastoral Association.. Mr. T. Martin presided. . . , ' The Waikato Trotting Club, which has a controlling interest in the grounds, wrote suggesting that the clu'b, the Agricultural and Pastoral Association and the Polo Club should appoint delegates to confer with a view to settling the matter amicably. Mr. P. E. Dingle, Mr. W. Newell, and the president were appointed a delegation to repersent the association. . It was decided that'they should discuss-the matter j with the representative of the Trotting' Club prior to meeting the delegates from the Polo Club.
