FOOTBALL DANCE.
The first dance arranged by the Papatoetoe Rugby League was held in the Papatoetoe Town Hall last evening. A programme of old-time dance music was provided by Mr. and Mrs. P. Keddell and Mr. T. Stewart. Mr. J. Henderson was in charge of the dances. Among those present were: —Mrs. W. Wilkinson (Maungatapere), who wore black satin and lace; Mrs. R. Kemp, navy silk; Mrs. J. Henderson, salmon pink crepe de chine; Mrs. Parker, cyclamen crepe de chine; Mrs. Polglase, black lace, over cerise; Mrs. Hutchens, navy satin; Mrs. Postlewaite, figured silk rayon; Mrs. L. Neil, mauve silk; Mrs. Murray, black lace over satin; Mrs. H. White, beaded mauve crepe de chine; Mrs. Harris, navy crepo de chine; Mrs. K. Brennan, nattier blue georgette; Mrs. Keddell, pearl grey crepe de chine; Mrs. Cleland, cinnamon brown ninon; Mrs. Burton, black velvet; Mrs. Tonkin, champagne crepe de chine; Mrs. Atkinson, wine taffeta; Mrs. J. Collings, black satin; Mrs. C. Elder, blue frock; *Miss J. Neil, shell pink crepe de chine; Miss B. Chappell, apple green crepe de chine; Miss V. Manson, black crepe de chine; Miss M. Lambert, floral crepo de chine; Miss B. Murray, flame georgette; Miss J. Piggin, figured rayon; Miss D. Polglase, lemon chiffon taffeta; Muss M. Polglase, mauve crepe de chine; Miss J. Culpan, tomato georgette and silver lace; Miss G. McCauley, salmon taffeta with rosebuds; Miss E. Mayall, shot taffeta and coffee lace; Miss T. Ricks, black velvet; Miss P. Harris, lemon crepe de chine; Miss U. Harris, shell pink rayon; Miss M. Hamilton, reseda green beaded georgette; Miss P. Sanderson, lemon rayon; Miss Kemp, old gold satin; Miss A. Eade, salmon satin relieved with coffee lace; Miss L. Robinson, sea green ninon; Miss P. Piggin, champagne ninon; Miss J. White, nattier blue rayon; Miss T.
