CHURCHES TO BE CONSULTED. % (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Saturday.The New Zealand University Senate considered a report bv a special committee on the question of conferring degrees in theology and adopted & recommendation in favour of doing so. It was decided that the committee con* veno a meeting of representatives of the churches in order to advise the Senate and Academic Board as to the legislative and other requirements nccessary.
