THAMES CLUB.
THAMES CLUB. The Thames Croquet Club closed its season's play on Saturday, having enjoyed a most successful one. At the afternoon tea adjournment the president of the club, Mr. F. McCullough, congratulated the management committee, the secretary (Mrs. R. Taj'lor), and the treasurer (Miss Rowe) upon the able way the affairs of the club had been conducted during the past season. He also* sincerely thanked the members of the club on oehalf of the bowlers for the assistance rendered by the ladies in providing the afternoon tea and entertaining visiting bowlers. The president then presented the following prizes won during the season:—A champion, Mrs. N. Jonassen; B champion, Mrs. R. Taylor; single champion, .Mrs. D. H. Dalton: A break competition, Mrs. D. H. Dalton ; B break competition, Miss Gibson. Non-prizewinners' competition, Mrs. Masefield. MANGERE EAST CLUB. The Mangere East Croquet Club closed its season on Saturday with a tournament. The winners were Mrs. Burrett and Mrs. Saussey.
