The final for possession or the i'aterson Memorial Cup took place on Saturday between F. Gallon and W. Chesney. They were all square on the twentieth head, and on playing tne final head Chesney won on a measure for shot. The winner and runner-up were congratulated on the meritorious display of bowling. This practically closed the competitions for this season, although a few heads ol the pairs have still to be played to find the winners. Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Clarxe provided afternoon tea, and were a accorded a hearty vote of thanks for their kindness. At thb conclusion of the games Mr. Jones, the president, took occasion to thank the members for the support accorded him during the season, and hoped they would all meet again to greet a new year in bawling.
