GLENDOWIE CLUB.
There was a large entry for the Canadian foursomes bogey handicap played by members of the Glendowie Golf Club on Saturday. The conditions were Ideal, but most of the players found it hard to stay on the greens on account of the continued dry weather making the course so fast. Following were the list cards handed in: F. Trice and P. Russell, all square; I>. Harrison and F. Llntott, 1 down; E. Hutchison and R. Edmonds, 2 down! A. Churchhouse and G. Radley, 2 down; C. B. Thomas and C. S. Woods, 3 down; W. K. Matheson and C. Blernacki, 4 down; F. Kronfeld and 0. Wolfgram, 4 down; T. Martin and N. A. Ching, 4 down. The plav-off in. a tie of a previous Saturday' in a 'four-ball bogey handicap resulted in a win for J. Hart and R. Bradley, who returned a card of 4 up, as against their opponents', N. C. Snedden and H. Rawlinson, 3 up.
