MAUNGAKIEKIE CLUB.
A scaled bogey handicap match was played by members of the Maungakiekie Golf Club at the Tltirangi links on Saturday. The links were in excellent order. Some good cards were returned. The match resulted in a tie between R. M. George (2), E. M. Ohlson (7), 2 up. 9 Other cards returned were:—W. R. Vercoe (12), A. K. Hawley (9), 1 up; J. Gilmour (8), F. N. Lawrie (10), all square; A. Randrup (5), W. West (11), 2 down. • The handicap match play competition for the Taylor bowl will be commenced at the Titirangi links next Saturday. The llag match played by members of the Maungakiekie Golf Club at One Tree Hill on Saturday attracted a large entry. Tho winner was D. D. Holland, handicap 18, who carried the flag to the 19th fairway.
