NORTHCOTE PLUNKET BRANCH.
A well-attended meeting of Xorthcote women interested in the work of the Plunket Society was held on Saturday afternoon at the residence of Mrs. J. E. Mays. The Mayores, Mrs. A. E. Greenslade, who presided, stated that the benefit of the skilled advice of the Plunket nurses, and the methods observed in regard to the progress of the babies, had merited general appreciation. It was now desired to assist the society by undertaking the organisation of local maintenance and control. The meeting unanimously endorsed action in this direction. The following officers were elected: —President, tho Mayoress, Mrs. -A. E. Greenslade; vice-presidents, Mesdames Arch. Campbell, Walter E. Carter and J. E. Mays; committee, Mesdames F. E. 0. Townshend, J. W. Letlibridge, Frank Wilson, W. P. Hay. C. M. Greenslade. C. H. Colegrave. E. Campbell, Gordon Fraser. Arthur Stilwell, J. D. Anthony, A Watson, A. W. Christmas, IT. McLaughlin, A. Clark, M. Davis, E. Mullins, L. G. Giinblett, E. Opperman and J. Hawk; secretary. Mrs. M. Neilson: treasurer, Mrs. A. Boswell. Financial arrangements for the current year are to be considered by the committee on Thursday evening at the next meeting in the Borough Chambers.
