NATIONAL THEATRE.
LEASED BY J. C. WILLIAMSON.
The directors of the National Picture Theatre, Queen Street, have decided to forgo their recently-announced intention of installing a talkie plant themselves, and have leased the theatre to Messrs. J. C. Williamson (N.Z.), Ltd.
It has not been finally decided what type of'talking plant will be installed. When the change-over is effected, some time about the end ot June, Queen Street will no longer have, a silent picture house.
