BUILDER BANKRUPT.

COMMITTEE TO INVESTIGATE

A meeting of creditors in the estate of V. B. Thorn was held at the Official Assignee's office this morning, when it was decided that a committee of three be appointed to go into his affairs with the Official Assignee. Bankrupt is a building contractor, who was residing at Onehuhga, but is now resident at St. Heliers /Bay. He attributed his bankruptcy to bad health and medical expenses.
