DEVONPORT ORPHANS.
INSTALLING A PRESIDENT. - Members of the Dcvonport Orphans' Club met on Saturday night to inaugurate therv twenty-first session, when Bro. E. Aldridge was installed president for the second term. Past-president Bro. H. S. W. King welcomed members and visitors. In the course of his remarks, he made reference to the services of the orchestra, and also to the high standard of entertainment which had been supplied during the seasons past. On behalf of the visitors Bro. Francis, of the Papakura Club, responded to the welcome. The orchestra, under the baton of Bro. Charles Wood rendered an entertaining programme. The newlv-installcd president gave an address on "Service." He enumerated Se various walks of life, especially stressing matters pertaining to soc.al the past-president, Bro. King, spoke eulogistically ot he prcsilent and expressed regret that the pieJent occasion would be the last for some ■Se on which he would preside.
