SERVICE CAR DRIVERS INJURED.
KNOCKED DOWN BY THIRD CAR,
Two service car drivers were knocked down by a third ear near Wiri, about 4 o'clock on Saturday afternoon. Both men, Messrs. 0. Sorenson and F. Crimmins, were brought into town by another service car, and were taken to the hospital. Mr. Crimmins, who had concussion, was admitted, but Mr. Sorenson was able to leave after treatment. The condition of Mr. Crimmina to-day was reported to be satisfactory. The cars driven by the injured men had been parked on opposite sides of the road, and when the drivers were crossing to.change vehicles, a third service car knocked them down. Before coming into the hospital they were attended to by a St. John Ambulance nurse, and Dr. A. B. Jameson, of Papatoetoe.
