Soon after the girl heard a shot and, calling to her father, rushed out into the road to find her lover dead. iliss Dawes mother «asJ. "It is a sad business. Dolly is prostrate and we are too upset to say anything." Bowditch was captain of the local cricket club, and was extremely popular. MLsDawe, an attractive girl, is in service.
