CAUSE OF UNEMPLOYMENT.
Lnemployment in New Zealand as it is to-day is only a. repetition of the late •'eighties and early 'nineties, when ablebodied men were working for 10/ per week, and soup kitchens were also in vogue. The cause will be removed when there are as many millions of money spent on it as were squandered in creating it. Then New Zealand will once more be prosperous. No weakness of character or moral issues are involved. To say there is casts a reflection on the descendants of the good old pioneers of the early days, also other good working people of New Zealand.
