A tram motorman', Ernest Minriear, aged 45, of Oak Street, Royal Oak, was severely injured at the Epsom depot shortly before six o'clock yesterday afternoon. He liad put his car away and was leaving for home when he slipped into a repair pit, receiving concussion and injuries to the back of the head. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance, and this morning was reported to - have slightly improved. .
