CORNISH ASSOCIATION.
The Auckland Cornish Association has a membership, of nearly 200, according to a report made by the secretary at the annual meeting, which- was held at Newmarket on Tuesday. The • following officers were elected :—Patron, Mr-. J. Corbett-Scott; president. Mr. J. W. Cocks; vice-presideiits, Mrs. W. Hughes, Mrs. H. Jackson', Mr. G. P. Williams, Mr. ,T. 11. G. Earle (reelected), Mr. W. Johns, Mr. R. Tiddy; secretary, Mr. W. J. Tucker; treasurer, Mr. C. James; committee, Mesdnmes W. J. Tucker, N. Norton, C. .Tallies, Love, Misses Williams and Thome, Messrs. J. Stephens, C. Hill, Odgers, F. Hawken, K. Dingle, liosking; official piunisr, Miss J. Williams; financial secretary, Mr. W. Johns. A new constitution was adopted.
