TE AROHA, The Eev. R. L. Connolly presided at the annual meeting of parishioners. The vicar said that thanks were due to the Ladies' Guild, who had been -responsible for placing the finance on a good basis. The balance' sheet showed a debit balance of £43 18/5. .} „ The following officers were elected:— Vicar's warden, Mr. E. A. Bruce; parishioners' warden, Mr. A. B. Hinton; vestry, Messrs. F. Strange, G. Gilclmst, J. Caton. F. T. Halligan, T. A. Ilines, 11. E Willcox. J. Heathcote. G. A. Cornish, O. M: Samuel, and .1. Andrews; hon. auditor. Mr. I\ Gilehrist. The following resolution was carried: "That * it be a recommendation to the vestry to consider the oppointment of a curate in the near future, and that all present pledge themselves to support the proposal."
