HOCKEY.
THE SEASON'S OPENING. TO-MORROW'S PROGRAMME. MEN'S SENIOR MATCHES. Members of the Auckland Hockey Association's senior men's teams are on their toes for the opening of the season to-morrow. At Ecmuera, University will meet North Shore and University Whippets will clash with St. Luke e. The third game, in which the promoted Wesley team will oppose Somcrville, last year's champions, will tie decided at Walker Park. A number of practice games will also be played.
