WAIPAHI FOR RAROTONGA. MAHIA TO LOAD. The departure yesterday afternoon of the Ruahine, Port Hobart and Huntingdon leaves only four overseas vessels in port. The last of the Union Company's Ul f nev: cargo steamers, the Walmarino, lefi England on April 21 for Dunedin, Lyttelton and Auckland, via Durban. She is due at Dunedin early in July. The Wai marino, which is of 3080 tons gross, was launched by the Ardrossan Dockyard, Limited. The vessel is a single screw steamer, 320 ft in length and 46.7 ft in breadth, with a depth of 25.5 ft, moulded to upper deck. The machinery was made by John G. Kineaid and Company, Limited, of Greenock. The steamer is built on the same lines as the* Waipiata, and she •will be. used for the Dunedin-Wellington-Auck-land service. Captain A. S.
