BRADFORD TOPS. A BETTER TONE. LONDON, May 1. On the Bradford tops' market prices continue to harden for spot deliver}'. LONDON TALLOW MARKET. The Bank of Ne-w Zealand has received the following advice from its London office under date 30th ultimo: — Tallow.—There is a poor demand. Current quotations: Good mutton, 35/6 per cwt; beef. 34/6 to 35/; mixed, 34/ to 34/6; gut, 28/ to 31/6. . Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having'received the following cablegram from their London house dated 30th ultimo: — Tallow.—Prices are 11/ to 1/6 lower. 1370 casks offered and 15 per cent sold. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., London, report:—Present c.i.f.e. prices for tallow are: Fine mutton, 36/; good beef, 36/; mixed, 33/3. (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, May 1. Tallow stocks total 986 casks. Imports for the month were 538 casks and deliveries 566.
