FALSE PRETENCE CHARGE.
DALMATIAN SENT FOR TRIAL. A Dalmatian, Frank Markovini, aged 22, brought before the Police Court this morning on a charge of obtaining £4 17/G in cash and a shirt valued at 12/6 from George Albert Ashley last Christmas Eve by means of a valueless cheque, pleaded not guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial.
