OLD TIME DANCE.
An "old time" dance was held last night at the Town Hall, Papatoetoe. A number of dance competitions were held, and were won by Miss Myers and Mr. Jenkins, Mr. and Mrs. Atkinson and Miss M. Thomas-, and Mr. T. Woulds. Amongst those present were: Mrs. J. Henderson, who wore a frock of sea green silk; Mrs. Burton, mauve frock, Miss M. Davies, crepe de chine; Miss J. Fricker, lime green georgette; Miss Gladys Billington, cream silk frock; Miss M. Watkins, black velvet; Miss V. Johnson, blue crepe de chine; Miss M. Thomas, lemon silk; Mrs. T. Woulds, cream silk; Miss H. Thomas, green silk; Mrs. W. H. Barker, black satin and silver lace; Mrs. A. H. Parker, green crepe de chine; Miss Sanderson, powder blue georgette; Miss B. Bell, lemon georgette and ring velvet; Mrs. Tonkin, apricot crepe de chine; Mrs. D. Atkinson, red taffeta; Mrs.' 11. T. Mcintosh, salmon georgette over satin; Miss C. Haughey, figured crepe de chine; Miss D. Roberts, cyclamen taffeta; Mrs. A. J. Collings, black satin; Miss L. Robinson, amethyst georgette, witlr lace; Miss V. Manson, powder 'blue crepe de chine; Mrs. Bradbury, pink satin; Miss : o'Hara, blue georgette; Mrs. Hull, sea green silk; Miss J. Neil, cream silk; Mrs. W. Hopkins, green crepe de chine; Mrs. C. Johnston, apricot crepe de chine; Mrs. E. Hutchins, flame crepe de cliine; Mrs. H. White, cream crepe de chine; Miss D. Polglase, pale pink - and blue; Miss M. Polglase cream crepe de cliine; Mrs. F. King, rose velvet; Miss J. Myers, blue crepe de cliine; Mrs. J. Murray, black georgette; Miss B. Murray, red georgette, with silver; Miss M. Hamilton,' eau de nil crepe de chine; Miss. F. Robinson, ivory crepe de chine; Mrs. Kiddell, black lace over satin.
