Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Auckland Transport Board (hereinafter called the Board) to apply to his Excellency the Governor-Gcneral-in-Council for an Order-in-Council under the provisions of The Tramways Act, 190S, and its amendments (unless forbidden by the Ratepapers in ' manner prescribed by the said Act), to authorise the extension of the tramways known as the Aucklaud Electric Tramways. The particulars of the proposed undertaking are as follows :— (a) The construction of a single line of tramway, with parking sidings, into the Auckland Railway Station, being a branch from tiie existing tramway in Beach Road, commencing at a point about 14 chains east of Anzac Avenue, and proceeding thence in a northerly direction into the station concourse, and returning to _ the Beach Road tramway at a point about 23 chains east of Anzac Avenue.
