Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Auckland Transport Board (hereinafter called the Board) to apply to his Excellency the Governor-Gcneral-in-Council for an Order-in-Council under the provisions of The Tramways Act, 190S, and its amendments (unless forbidden by the Ratepapers in ' manner prescribed by the said Act), to authorise the extension of the tramways known as the Aucklaud Electric Tramways. The particulars of the proposed undertaking are as follows :— (a) The construction of a single line of tramway, with parking sidings, into the Auckland Railway Station, being a branch from tiie existing tramway in Beach Road, commencing at a point about 14 chains east of Anzac Avenue, and proceeding thence in a northerly direction into the station concourse, and returning to _ the Beach Road tramway at a point about 23 chains east of Anzac Avenue. Length about 25.5 chains. (b) Plans longitudinal sections and cross sections showing the nature of the work and the line of construction, and copies of the Proposed Order-in-Council are deposited for public inspection in the office of the Board at the corner of Customs Street and Albert Street, in the City of Auckland, and may be seen there during office hours.
