When the vehicular ferry steamer Goshawk arrived from Birkenhead at the berth in Freeman's Bay at 8.46 this morning. Captain T. Lyiieh received a painful blow oil the right arm. It Was found necessary to hoist the electric lift by hand gear, and while it was being WoUnd, the handle came out and a short circuit 1-esUlted. The handle reversed and Struck the captain on the muscle of the right arm. It narrowly missed hitting his, head. After being given medical attention, Mr. Lynch went home.
