Gray on Job Again.

Pilots Initial Favourite To Victory—H. Dulieu Rides Nicely Winner. Trustee and Glittering Gold failed to parade for the Rosebank Handicap, and the public had no hesitation in making Sir Mond favourite carrying £011, with Eoval Finance £525, Hannibal £473 and Operatic £307 next fancies. Royal Finance was slow to leave and Operatic led out from Biddy Comet, Hannibal, Stonehenge, Sir Mond and Land Measure. Land Measure moved up along the back and when they reached the top, Operatic was still in charge, with Biddy Comet, Hannibal, Land Measure and Sir Mond'following. Operatic was first to turn for home, with Sir Mond following fast. Sir Mond finished best in the run home and went on to win by threequarters, of a length from Operatic, who beat Hannibal by half a length. Royal Finance was fourth, then came Stonekfige, Biddy Comet, Good Idea and Land . Measure. Favourite Unplaced. All paraded for the Avondale Hurdles, and in a good betting race Opa was favourite, with £082, and Mountain Guide ( £012} t and Grand Arch (£004) also well supported. The backers of the favourite did not get a good run, as Opa fell at the first fence, as also did Archeen and Quincoma. Airtight was the leader when they reached the stand, with Grand Arch, Dark Prince, Harbour View and Mountain Guide in attendance. Airtight was still piloting the field along the back, With Grand Arch, Dark Prince and Harbour View following. Mountain Guide was in seventh place, and Negress tailed oft.
