SUEZ CONTROL. Egypt Wants Half Share With Britain. TREATY CONFERENCE. (United P.A.—Electric Telegraph-Copyright) (Received 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, April 7. The Anglo-Egyptian negotiations were continued to-day. It is understood Egypt's demand for dual control of the Suez Canal involves Egyptian soldiers side by side with British, which has always * been unacceptable to Britain, who is likely to insist that the safeguarding of the canal should remain entirely in the hands of the British.
