MINING IMPROVES.
First Quarterly Credit Balance. POSITION AT HOME. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, April 7. The Mines Department has issued, a statistical summary, of the working results of the coal mining industry for the last quarter of 1929. This shows that for the fir|fc time since work has resumed after the stoppage of 1926 there was a credit balance on the quarter's trading in all districts.
