HOCKED IN HAND.
« A gash that necessitated the insertion of three stitches was received by Mr. W. Page, of 9, West End Lane, when working on the steamer Kaimiro. He had his hand caught by one of his shipmates' hooks, used for lifting sacks of wheat. Hβ was removed to.the Public Hospital by the St. John Ambulance, and was later able to go home.
