TECHNICAL COLLEGE.
/ PAST STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION. f The fifth annual report and balancesheet was presented, at the meeting of the Past Students' Association of the Seddon Memorial Technical College in the Assembly Hall on Thursday evening. The report, while showing the very satisfactory condition of the affiliated clubs, pointed out how its active membership had fallen to a degree quite out of proportion with what it should be. The association was well alive and in a healthy condition. More general interest was called for; interest in the association as well as in the club. The social activities will be extended more along the purely social lines as suggested by a scheme of invitation,. and dances are to be held every four weeks in the Assembly Hall. A new gymnasium club was formed in two divisions, one for ladies and the other for men. The following were elected as officers of the association for the ensuing year: Patron, Mr. H. W. King and Mr. G. J. Park; president, Mr. Eric L. H. James; vice-presidents, Mrs. Oliver, Miss L. Vickery, Mr. R. Galbraith, Mr. T. Studd; executive committee, Miss E. Jeffries, Miss S.'Ashby, Mr. J. McKain, Mr. R. Porteous, Mr. C. McDonald; hon. secretary and treasurer, Miss Hazel Roberts.
