WEDDINGS OF THE WEEK.

McCALLUM—DUNSMORE. The marriage of Miss Jennie. Dunsmore, second daughter of Mr. J. Dunsmore, of Falkirk, Scotland, to Mr. Charles McCallum, of Falkirk, Scotland, was celebrated at the Gardner Road Presbyterian Church yesterday morning. The Rev. D. D. Scott officiated. The bride Avas given away by Mr. W. McCallum, and wore a frilled pink georgette frock with cluster of silk flowers and silver leaves on one hip. The pink tulle veil was held in place by a coronet of orange blossom, and she carried a pink and white shower bouquet. Miss Margaret Leslie was the bridesmaid, and wore a lettuce green georgette, appliqued in large medallions of pink and mauve flowers. A lace straw hat was trimmed with a pale green rose under the brim, and she carried a mauve and pink bouquet. Mr. L. Underwood was the best man. The morning tea party was held at Mrs. W. Underwood's residence in. Epsom, the hostess wearing a pink crepe de chine and beige hat. HALL—CURLEY. The wedding was celebrated at the Knox Presbyterian Church, Huntly, of Miss Isabel Curley, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Curley, of Huntly, to Mr. Leslie Albert Hall, fourth son of the late Mr. R. A. Hall and Mrs. Hall, of Huntly. The Rev. M. C. Gibb performed the ceremony and Miss Stanplayed the Wedding March; The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of white georgette fashioned on simple lines, with an uneven hemline, which Avas finished Avith a deep hem of silver lace. The chief bridesmaid Avas Miss Margaret Curley, sister of the bride, and the second bridesmaid was Miss Dorothy Hall, sister of the bridegroom. .There Avere two little flo Aver girls, Joan Shaw and Grace Coan. The bridegroom Avas attended by Mr. J. W. Shaw, of Huntly, as best man, and Mr. A. Alison, of Auckland, was groomsman. A reception Avas held after the ceremony at the Masonic Hall.

St. David's Church, Taihape, wag beautifully decorated with blue, pink and white blooms, last week, for the wedding of Miss ' Ivy Olive Belliss, youngest daughter of Mr. James Belliss "and the late Mrs. Belliss, of Mataroa Road, Taihape, and Mr. Andrew Brown, only son of Mr. Eobert Brown and the late Mrs. Brown, of Auckland. The service was fully choral, in compliment to the bride, who has been the church organist for the last 15 years. The Rev. E. Bandy officiated, Mrs. E. Box presiding at the organ. Given away by her father, the, bride wore a dainty frock of white satin beaute with uneven hem line, and a silver edged rosette on one shoulder. The embroidered filmy tulle veil was held in place by a coronet of orange blossom buds, and she carried, a pink and white shower bouquet. Miss Doris Maitland was the bridesmaid. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr. Boy Johns, of Auckland. The bride's sister acted as hostess for the reception, which was held at the residence of Mr. J. Belliss.

YOUNG—FLAY.

A pretty wedding was celebrated last week in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church at .Te Awamutu, between Violet Amelia, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Flay, "Oaklands," Te Awamutu, and Lindsey Evans, eldest son of Mr. W. E. Young, Mount Eden, Auckland. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. F. A. Thompson, of Auckland. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, wore a frock of ivory marictte made in early Victorian fashion. The long train was of silver lace appliqued in silver, with sprays of ring velvet flowers. Her veil of Spanish lace fell from a coronet of orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of clematis and maiden hair fern. Miss Hazel Flay, chief bridesmaid, wore blush pink georgette with tucked bodice and flared skirt and crinoline- hat to tone. Miss Myrtle Flay wore Nile green georgette and green crinoline hat to match. Little Elva Scurrah, flower girl, wore a frock of lemon crepe de chine and silver headdress; They all carried posies to match their frocks. The best man was Mr. Reg. Bell, and Mr. Alan Beach acted as groomsman. Following the wedding a reception was held in the Central Tearooms, where Mrs Flay received her guests in a Lido blue satin beaute gown, with blue and pink hat. The guests included: Mr. and Mrs. W.
