BYRD ON THE AIR.
BROADCAST THIS AFTERNOON. ; Rear-Admiral Byrd's talk to Dunedm school children in the Town Hall this afternoon was broadcast, and arrangements were made for - the children in Auckland city and suburban schpols to listen in. Through the co-operation of" the Auckland Radio Dealers' Association with the Auckland Education Board four outdoor centres were arranged— Takapuna racecourse, the Auckland Domain, the Teachers' Training College (Epsom), and the stadium (Western Springs). Several of the schools were fortunate enough to number among their friends enthusiasts who arranged for apparatus to be installed in the respective schools.
