Wife of Governor Steals Official Property. CONFESSION OP THEFT. (Received 11 a.m.) BERLIN, Maroh 17. A sensation itl society and official circles has followed the" confession by Frau Momm, the aristocratic wife of the Governor of Potsdam, that Bhe was responsible for a series of thefts of silverware and cash from the Governor's official residence. Suspicions were aroused when Frau's Story, of a masked bandit's visit was found to contain many discrepancies. She later confessed to her husband, who informed the police and submitted his own resignation. The wife stated that she took the money to pay big drapery bills.
