SUBURBS CHORAL UNION.
The first annual meeting of the Western Suburbs Choral Union was held in the New Lynn Presbyterian schoolroom last evening, Mr. W. B. Cameron presiding. The following officers were elected: —Chairman, Mr. W. B. Cameron; secretary, Mr. T. Laurie; conductor, Mr. T. Mortimer. The appointment of the pianist was left to a later date. The committee as last year Avas reappointed en bloc. There was a good attendance of members, and much enthusiasm was displayed in the work for the coming season. ' *
