NEWS AND NOTES. : NEW WORLD'S DIRT TRACK RECORD BIG SLOGAN PRIZE. - The makers of B.S.A. motor cycles are offering £1500 in prizes—£looo (or £1 a week for life) as a first prize, and 10 prizes of £50 as eminently consoling consolation prizes—in connection with a slogan competition. All B.S.A. riders who purchased their machines between August 1, 1929, and September 1, 1930, are eligible to compete. Entry forms are obtainable from any B.S.A. dealer.
Entrants are asked to place, in -what they consider will be the popular order, a series of 12 slogans applicable to B.S.A.'s, and to select one of these slogans—which they may or may not regard as being necessarily the most universally popular of the dozen—as their own individual choice. The competition will remain open until September 1, 1930.
