COMBINED BANKS V. LEGAL PROFESSION. At Eden Park yesterday afternoon very bright cricket was played under ideal conditions. It was decided that each team should bat two hours. The solicitors won the toss, and Snedden sent McLeod and A F Weir to open the Innings. This pair put on 92 before being separated. lhe lawyers were all out at 3.50 for the respectable total of 253. After the tea adjournment the bankers opened with Hay and Whiteldw, Avlio started, off in merry fashion, 'lhe features of the innings were a. very line 04 By Vivian, and a' good knock for 5o for l*.
