Next Saturday tie final Series of the Pascoe Cup will be decided. After last Saturday's .meeting- the' leading riders ftftd their points were: Coyle, 12J; Allen, 12; Mattson, 10J; and Bray, 8. . Next Saturday's meeting should be. a fine one. The stars will be Miss Fay Taylour, the dare-devil Irish girl, Max Graham, a whirlwind Australian, and the ever popular Syd. Perkins. An excellent programme has been drawn up. At a mid-week meeting to be held at Wellington dh March 20, the: New; Zealand mile and one lap championships will be decided, /Three Auckland riders are to be ' selected and sent down to represent Auckland Speedways, Ltd. If - they can get away, it is • ■likely that the "reps" will" be Mattson, \ Herbert and Bray. . ' ; There-are ystill two: Series of the Auckland championship 'to be decided! It is expected that the second series will be completed on Saturday week, and the finaV'tho. following Saturday. Mattson was a hot favourite until quite recently, Mattson will- have to ride his machine with an open throttle to beat Ben Bray, who has at last struck a really lucky patch. Arrangements are being made, for a team -of five Wellington riders to race an Auckland team at Western Springs early next month. If negotiations are completed Kilmister, the Wellington star,-will be included in the team. In return for this match, a team of five Aucklanders will be sent to Wellington about the end of April so that the match will be the best of ten races.' There should be some great riding with the pick of Wellington and Auckland riders racing for supremacy. Can Mattson beat : Kilmister f
